Nepal is located just south of China and north of India.  With breathtaking scenery
of the world's highest mountain range as a backdrop.  But this same beauty is
what makes the terrain dangerous to maneuver  separating it's inhabitants from the rest of the world.

Nepal is the size of Kansas with 23 million inhabitants.

Far western Nepal has over half a million people, many of whom are isolated in small villages throughout rugged mountains.

Its a 24 hour bus ride from Kathmandu to the end of the road where our mission begins!

Nepal's rugged terrain makes farming very difficult.

Civil war began in 1996 leaving countless people homeless, hungry and devastated.

The average Nepali household income is $200 per year or less.
